Myrtle Beach, Pre Trick-or-Treating Dinner!

October 31st, also known as Halloween, falls on a Tuesday this year. But, just because it’s a week night, don’t let that stop your Halloween fun! A lot of local festivities will also be going on the weekend prior to the 31st. There are tons of places in and around Myrtle Beach to take the kids trick-or-treating. Besides residential communities, lots of churches, schools, and other organization are hosting Trunk-or-Treats this year. This trend has been growing in popularity in recent years since not as many people are participating in traditional trick-or-treating. Other places along the Grand Strand that will be holding trick-or-treating events are Broadway at the Beach, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, the Market Common, and the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, just to name a few! Thompson Farms in Conway and the North Myrtle Beach Sports & Recreation Complex will also be holding Halloween “bashes”.

But, before the kiddos fill up on all that candy, you are going to want them to eat a good meal! After all, you’ll want something to absorb all that sugar! Luckily, the Chesapeake House has a great Kid’s menu for children and great Early Bird’s menu for the parents! Our Kid’s menu consists of Fried Fish Strips, Fried Inlet Shrimp, Fried Chicken Strips, Chopped Sirloin, and Spaghetti. All of the items on our Kid’s menu are served with fries. Our Early Bird menu, which is served from 4:30pm to 6:30 pm, is accompanied by our famous bread basket of hot and fresh cinnamon rolls, homemade bread, and hushpuppies(yum!) with honey butter. Each entrée also comes with a house salad or cole slaw, and your choice of a side item. Add a cup of our World Famous Fish Stew for only $1.00!
